We are committed to the “God the
Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth” world view;
therefore we are committed to sustainable, organic,
responsible agriculture. We are convinced that it is our
responsibility to share the concept with others by how
we live, what we think, and what we eat.
Founded in 1978, Bethany Prairie Farm
Fellowship is a small agrarian community located in Northwest Barnes
County, North Dakota. Although non-denominational, we live and work
in community and follow the teachings of Christ.
Bethany Prairie Farm – The farm
consists of 440 acres of prime Barnes County farmland, which
from the 1950’s until now was farmed conventionally. The
recently launched Prairie Farm Pilot Project is the
restoration of this farm to a sustainable, organic,
integrated crop/livestock farming unit. We are accomplishing
this with a bio-diverse, holistic, synergistic, organic,
sustainable farming plan which is: healthy soil = healthy
plants = healthy animals = healthy meat, eggs and milk =
healthy people.
Fruits and Vegetables – Large gardens, a winter
greenhouse garden, a grape arbor in the making, an apple
orchard, as well as a variety of wild plums, and berries
provide year around local foods.
We invite you to come to the farm for a visit, share a
meal, and truly put a face with the food that we produce
from God’s green earth, sunshine, and pure water.
